Description

The Autronica 116-BD-501 is a point heat detector, designed to detect a rise in environment temperature caused by a fire. The BD-501 is designed to be used with the Autronica AutroSafe and Autroprime fire alarm system. The SelfVerify function automatically tests with a calibrated test, ensuring the highest grade of reliability. Additional coating of the PBC and sealing of the sensing element make the BD-501 suitable for rough areas like heavy industry, maritime and offshore applications.

The Autronica BD-501 is often used in areas where the environment is likely to produce unwanted alarms, such as:
