The Salwico MCP-SPR-C is made out of PC/ABS and the encapsulation, rated IP67, makes it suitable for use in harsh environments. Pressing the glass causes it to crack and activate the fire alarm. A protective plastic coating on the break glass prevents the operator from injury.
